I really wanted to share the wedding of Clau and Fer in Tulum. This is a very special wedding for me for several reasons. It is the first destination wedding in Mexico. The first marriage of the same sex that I photograph, and last but not least, because I have had the opportunity to portray one of the best moments of one of my great friends of childhood. As a wedding photographer it is a great challenge, which turned out to be very positive.

Clau and Fer have been together for many years and have come a long way in order to reach this point where same-sex marriage has finally been recognized in Mexico. And it has been a great celebration that lasted an unparalleled weekend in one of the most unspoiled and authentic beaches of Tulum, Playa Esperanza. Their wedding at Playa Esperanza; A perfect name to celebrate their moment, their happiness and their love, accompanied by their closest family and friends.

The weekend began with a welcome dinner just the day before the wedding. All the guests, coming from different parts of Mexico, the United States and Spain, gathered in a beautiful hotel with some unique cabañas just 100 meters from the beach.

Their adventure began on an April morning filled with bright light and a very gentle breeze on the beach. The ceremony began with great emotions, the vows of each of them were filled with emotion, laughter and tears. You could see the love in every detail; The bottles painted by themselves and collected months before, carefully hand-written posters, the painting painted for the guests to leave their mark …
